Intro to Mosaics Workshop

Learn the art of glass-cut mosaic with Philadelphia based artist Daniel Lipschutz.
Designed for beginners and open to all skill levels.
We will cover the basics of design, color selection, glass cutting, adhesion, and finishing as you create a custom artwork that will be perfect as a holiday gift or colorful piece in your home.
Using the meditative approach of the mandala, students will create a design using simple, repeatable shapes. Pieces will be completed within the timeframe, save for the final step of grouting. A grouting demonstration will be provided in each workshop, after which students can grout at home using provided materials, or pay a small fee to have their piece grouted and ready for pick up within one week.
