Dance improves agility, balance and coordination. It is a great boost for cardiovascular health, muscle tone and strength. But dance has more than a physical impact, it can stimulate the brain and do wonders for emotional well-being. It does more than increase memory and brain-power, unlocking the feeling of being mentally stuck to further greater learning. Dance is a “feel good” activity – one that enhances one’s mood while lowering stress. It can also build self esteem. Yet, in the end, dance is simply fun and great at any age.
