Glass Art at Studio 67 Medford

Come be inspired.

The glass studio is now operated by Studio 67 Medford. Classes are being taught by Risa Batterman-Dera. Risa received her formal art training with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Degree from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, Rhode Island as well as a Master’s in Fine (MFA) with a concentration in Color Theory. She has experimented with a variety of media including oils, clay, photography and hot glass prior to choosing stained glass as her medium of choice of expression. She has been working in the Tiffany Method (copper foil) for the past 25 years.

Risa is currently teaching Stained Glass for Studio 67. Previously she taught Stained Glass and Introduction to Jewelry Design for the Township of Cherry Hill’s Department of Recreation’s Adult Education Program for 12 years prior to the programs being canceled due to covid. She is also a partner in a family business specializing in accident reconstruction and the kinematics of movement.
