Get Your Flower Freak On at Studio 67! In this two hour photography workshop we will create stunning portraits of garden blooms using ONLY our cell phone cameras. We will play with composition using props including cut glass, mirrors, scarves, and beads. We will explore the addition of simple household lighting to create awesome visual effects. Topics to be discussed include the use of your camera’s built-in grid, cropping, and simple digital enhancements to take your photos “next level”. Several creative apps to enhance mood or achieve painterly effects will be also demonstrated. Finally, we will discuss different methods for printing and creating sellable botanical cards!
Your presenter, Kathleen Tezla is the Vice President of the Rancocas Nature Center (RNC) Photography Club. As a marketer for over 15 years, she brings her eye for detail and knowledge of print production. As an avid gardener, she relies on the convenience of a cell phone for the majority of her nature photography. Her photos have been exhibited at both the RNC and the Worker’s House at Smithville Mansion.
