Stories of the Soul is mixed media art using vintage wallpaper, old book pages, sheet music, acrylic and watercolor paints, oil pastels, paint pens, and a variety of other art supplies to create unique pieces of art on canvas or wood panels. Each piece is one of a kind with a quote that hopefully helps you through the day.
The class is taught by Sandy Foulks, a self-taught artist who loves to experiment with different mediums. Initially a potter, she transitioned to mixed media about 10 years ago and also enjoy working with fabrics, stitching and weaving. As a learning consultant focused on with students with special needs, it is “her” kids that inspire her every day.
