All are welcome to join and practice self-care through art making. Self-care includes the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual aspects of yourself. Allowing yourself to participate in self-care is not selfish, but an empowering behavior that promotes wellness.
You will learn a beginner friendly, structured art-making technique designed to de-stress! You don’t have to be an artist to participate. Instrumental music will be provided to aid in relaxation.
There is an increasing amount of scientific evidence that proves art enhances brain function, raises serotonin levels and an overall sense of comfort. Art making enhances life, transforms, repairs, and restores body, mind, and spirit. Join us and create something beautiful on the inside and out!
